This site focuses on the work done by the trade mark attorneys at Mears Morgan LLP, a new trade mark business that work side-by-side with our own IP lawyers to provide a comprehensive and seamless range of intellectual poverty services.

As from 1 October 2011 there is no default retirement age. The passing of the Employment Equality (Repeal of Retirement Age Provisions) Regulations 2011 means that the statutory default retirement age of 65 has now disappeared from our workplaces. Except for a few employers who have elected to objectively justify a retirement age, compulsory retirement at any age is now unlawful.

The wonders of modern technology have resulted in an increase in the numbers of people choosing to spend some or all of their time working from home.  Find out whether health and safety rules apply to your homeworkers too...
