Issue 21
February 2009

Welcome to our 21st newsletter. What's new? Firstly we are really excited about the Shirlaws workshop on Building Trusted Channels to New Customers, to be held on Tuesday 3rd March after the Salisbury Breakfast Club at the Grasmere Hotel in Salisbury. I was so impressed by this particular programme that I have become a Shirlaws customer and am currently going through the full Building Trusted Channels programme. I'm sure it will prove a really vital part of my plans to expand the business. I personally urge any business who is serious about business growth to come along. Secondly the Recession Buster seminar was a huge success – we already have a waiting list of people who we couldn't squeeze in for when we repeat the seminar shortly. Thirdly for those of you who do come along to our events, and especially the Breakfast Clubs, please note that we now have online booking and payment. Please do book and pay online – I don't want to wear Caroline out! For more details of all these subjects, and a practical guide to calculating interest on unpaid debts, see below.
In the meantime, if there is anything I can help you with please feel free to contact me.

Charging Interest on Late Bills
Cash is king and that has never been truer than in the current recession. If you do have unpaid bills, remember that it is your money your customers are holding onto. You have a legal right to charge interest on unpaid bills for business clients and doing so produces two dividends:
