Legal Update Issue 42, June 2011

Welcome to our 42nd newsletter.

Change is as good as a rest – or so they say. So this month we're changing the format of our breakfast clubs, joining together the Andover and Salisbury breakfast meetings for one combined event at Amesbury's Holiday Inn, just off the A303, for just £5. We are expecting a full house of 60 people and there are only a few places left. We even have an exciting speaker – see below for details.

This month we are also running another of our highly popular "F*R*E*E wills for the over 75's weeks. Details of this below, along with information about our relatively unknown construction law specialist, not to mention an article which considers whether you can ask job applicants about their health in interview.

Kind regards,
Tim Bishop

Employment Solicitors Bonallack & Bishop Salisbury When the Equality Act 2010 was introduced last October, some media reports suggested that you are prohibited from asking any questions about a candidate’s health when considering them for a job. Fortunately that's not the case, but you do have to be very careful so that you don't end up facing an employment tribunal.

I didn't know you did that - Construction Law

Salisbury Construction SolicitorsOur clients are often amazed to find out some of the niche specialist areas where we really can provide high quality specialist advice – like intellectual property law and lease extension work.
