Solicitors Plant 6,000 Trees for Christmas

Salisbury law firm Bonallack and Bishop have pledged to plant 6,000 saplings in Honduras in place of Christmas Cards this year.

“Normally we send hundreds of Christmas Cards to staff, clients and business partners but this year, instead, we decided to spend the money that would otherwise have gone on cards and postage in sending a cheque to Christian Aid to plant trees”, says Tim Bishop, Senior Partner. “As a responsible business we are becoming increasingly aware of our obligation to the environment - even though we aren’t a manufacturing industry, our three offices, like other services, do add to the strain on the environment. This year we decided to put a little back”.

In place of traditional Christmas cards Bonallack and Bishop will be sending out a festive email with information of where the money, otherwise spent on Christmas cards, will go.
