BONALLACK & BISHOP – SOLICITORS IN SALISBURY – PRESS RELEASE
May 2011
Free Wills For The Over 75s
6-10th June 2011
Salisbury Solicitors Bonallack & Bishop are offering, from 6-10th June 2011 only, the opportunity for anyone aged 75 or over to have a FREE will prepared by one of thelawyers in the Salisbury office
One of the firms Wills & Probate Solicitors, Gill Bassett says, ‘It’s amazing how many of us still don’t have an up-to-date valid will, and don’t appreciate how important it is to have one. Dying without a valid will often results in a lot of unnecessary complications for your loved ones - with the result that your property is unlikely to be distributed in line with your wishes.’
Bonallack & Bishop’s senior partner, Tim Bishop, added “It's really sad to see that disputes about how property should be distributed following the death of a close family member are becoming more commonplace. Dying without a will, or leaving an out-of-date or invalid will often produces significant distress for those left behind. Our offer of a free will to anybody aged 75 or over, is intended to help provide peace of mind for those in the autumn of their life."
The firm's Client Relationship Director, Nick Alward, commented, “We hope that this will provide a good opportunity for those wishing to organise their affairs - which will not only help put their own minds at rest but should result in reduced stress for anyone who is responsible for their affairs in future. Please do contact us with any questions.”
Bonallack & Bishop are hoping that the offer will repeat the success of similar events run by both their Salisbury and Andover offices previously.
Bonallack & Bishop also provide free storage for any Wills and Deeds in their fire-proof vaults.
Please note that this offer applies only to straightforward wills, and appointments must be made in advance.
