Bonallack & Bishop Solicitors Press Release
September 2007
Solicitors aim to raise profile (Salisbury Journal)
The legal profession will be well represented at Expo.
Salisbury law firm Bonallack & Bishop are taking part for the first time, Stockbridge Solicitors, Brockmans, for the second time, and Salisbury Lawyers Whitehead & Vizard of Salisbury for the fourth time.
Liz Granville-Sharp, marketing and business development co-ordinator with Bonallack & Bishop, said the firm was keen to be a part of the winning formula.
“Expo has been very successful over the years and we felt it was something that we wanted to be a part of”, she said. “We want to raise our profile and let businesses know about our commercial department.” She added that the firm’s new commercial solicitor, Andrew Cutler, would be at Expo, as well as a number of partners and staff.
Davina Hendy, legal executive with Brockmans who will be at Expo with one of the firm’s partners, Tony Ford, said that Expo was a good way to get to know other businesses.
“We were very happy with the way it went last year and will be happy to talk to people about a range of legal services,” she said.
David Ridley, employment law solicitor with Whitehead & Vizard, said that the firm continued to take part, not only to promote its services, but also because it had strong links with the chamber.
“Andrew Hodder was president of the chamber and its solicitor, and now I have taken on the solicitor to the chamber role,” he said. “We concentrate on client care and giving quality, useful and constructive legal advice. A lot of work comes through personal recommendation and people like face to face contact with us. Most members of the firm will be there during the day, so it is a good opportunity for clients to meet us.”
