BONALLACK & BISHOP SOLICITORS PRESS RELEASE
17th December 2009
LOCAL LAW FIRMS MERGE
Salisbury Solicitors Bonallack and Bishop have merged with niche Intellectual Property Law Firm Trapnells, whose owner, Laura Trapnell, will work from the firm’s Salisbury office as a consultant as part of the commercial team.
The latest merger follows Bonallack and Bishop's recent rapid expansion – they opened 2 further offices in 2009 following the completion of four law firm mergers in the last six years.
Laura moved to Salisbury 10 years ago after training in London, and specialises in intellectual property and Information Technology law, advising businesses ranging from one-man bands to multinational companies.
Tim Bishop, Bonallack and Bishop's senior partner, commented, “Intellectual property is highly specialised and with Laura on board, we can provide city quality expertise at local prices. Laura's approach fits in perfectly with our culture and I'm very excited to have such an expert on board. Intellectual property work is a central part of our marketing strategy for 2010. It proves that despite the recession, and law firms in general have suffered in the economic crisis, there is still scope for expansion."
