Bonallack & Bishop V-Den 2

BONALLACK & BISHOP SOLICITORS PRESS RELEASE

October 2008

V-Den 2

Following the success of the first V-Den in June, Bonallack and Bishop are pleased to announce that V-Den 2 will be taking place on Thursday 6th November, at the Grasmere Hotel in Salisbury from 8:30am 11:30am. An Andover V-Den has also been planned for January 13th at the Hampshire Golf Club, to run from 9.30am 12.30pm, immediately after the Andover Breakfast Club.

A fast-paced and informal "dragon's den" for fast-track business owners , this dynamic, interactive workshop has been devised by the BowShot Vector Group, a group for dozens of aspiring entrepreneurs in Dorset and Hampshire, “to unleash the combined experience, foresight and focus of 15 to 20 fast-track entrepreneurs".

Tim Bishop, senior partner of Salisbury Solicitors Bonallack and Bishop commented, “BowShot Vector have been running successful V-Dens running Dorset for some time and I am really pleased to run a second event in Salisbury with them. The first V-Den we held in Wiltshire proved to be a very exciting event indeed. It was so popular and successful that we have had to organise another one straightaway. Those who attend should expect to be challenged, entertained and informed. "Observer" is not an option at this event. That's because, at V-Den, the roles rotate throughout, so everybody stays involved. This fun event is for those business owners who are serious about growing their business. If any local business owner wants to treble the value of their business within 2-3 years, they really should attend V-Den."

At V-Den, participants find themselves actively contributing in 2 or all of the following 3 roles:

1. As a front-bench panel member, actively mentoring a fast-track entrepreneur in the dragon's den.
2. As the presenter of an actual business challenge they are facing today.
3. As an active back-bench mentor lending their brain power, insight and perspective.

Attendees at the first V-Den said:

“We found it extremely enjoyable and felt that it was great value to anyone in business. Whether you felt you needed help or not, you certainly learned something from attending the event.” Sally Gibb, Director of the Chord Company Ltd.

"Such an electric V-Den session on June 17th. Wonderful to see businesses offering each other such valuable advice, insight and support. Definitely worthwhile" Barbara Cox, CEO Nutichef.

"I found this a most stimulating experience in terms of marshalling my own thoughts and receiving what was a very positive and wide range of responses from the other delegates. The advice really crystallised my thoughts. Worthwhile and interesting." Howard Jenkins, Denley King Construction Consultants Ltd.
"If you're looking for straight-talking advice in a secure environment from some fellow entrepreneurs, V-Den's a good place to start." Tim Bentall, Partner, BDO Stoy Hayward.

"The V-Den event was fun and very rewarding. I came away with some great new ideas to benefit my business!" Peter Staines, SMS Office Equipment Ltd.

Attendance costs £50 plus VAT but Tim Bishop adds, " We are so confident that the event provides fabulous value for money that the event comes with a full money-back guarantee -- with a full refund if any one attending isn't completely satisfied ".

If you would like to attend either V-Den, please contact Caroline Skutt at Bonallack and Bishop and say whether you'd like to present an issue, be a panel member or participate as a member of the audience.
