Salisbury's leading business networking Breakfast Club was started in Salisbury in April 2008, when, having grown tired of the forced formality and minimum attendance requirements at many other breakfast networking events, we decided to set up our own to offer large and small businesses an opportunity to get together every month, exchange ideas and build good local relationships. It was such a triumph that the first Andover Breakfast Club was held in September 2008 (supported by Andover Sound). This proved so popular, with over 80 people turning up, that extra tables were set up and the event spilled over into a side room. Over 500 people have now attended either the Salisbury or Andover Breakfast Clubs, and there are regularly upwards of 40 people there, ensuring you don’t have to talk to the same old familiar faces month in, month out. Although there are occasional speakers, the emphasis is very much on enjoyment and informality to keep a bright modern approach to the meetings.
There is no joining fee and a relaxed atmosphere, and they are also perfect for those with family commitments, as breakfast is not served until around 8.20, giving you time to take the children to school before coming along.
By supporting local businesses we are able to keep costs down to a minimum - there is no subscription fee payable, merely £10 per breakfast. For this you receive both the opportunity to meet many local businesses and enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast.*
We would encourage you to attend if you are involved in a local business, and ask you to contact Tina Shaw, who organises the Breakfast Club and will happily provide you with any additional information you need and discuss attendance with you. Bookings must be received by 12 noon the day prior to the breakfast club and are not confirmed until money has been received.
