Business Growth Workshops with Shirlaws

In recognition of the financial climate and our absolute desire to help local businesses we have decided to waive all charges for the Business Strategies for Growth workshop series.

This series of three, three-hour workshops hosted by  Salisbury law firm ,Bonallack and Bishop, enables you to invest quality time to focus on some key drivers for growing your business. Each workshop will focus on a different aspect of business growth, including how to differentiate yourself in a crowded market, how to build relationships that refer business and how to plan for growth. Designed to be experienced either as a series or individually, these workshops provide a framework for you to shape to the needs of your business.

Here are some quotes from the current series Shirlaws are running with the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce:
“Interactive and thought provoking”
“Challenged existing working practices”
“Good practical advice, this was probably the first time some people in the room had thought about it”
We anticipate a rush to attend so we will be limiting the numbers to 50, so if you are a business with more than 5 employees and would like to get a different perspective on growing your business click on the registration link below for the first of the three workshops.

Building Trusted Channels to new Customers – 3rd March, Grasmere Hotel, Salisbury
Many businesses invest time and effort in networking but few of them manage the subsequent relationships in an effective and productive way. How many of us have made a good start with a business contact only to find that before long the phone doesn’t get answered or the email returned? Have you ever arranged lunch with a potential introducer and found yourself discussing the sport even before the main course has arrived?

This workshop will give you a framework for the proactive management of business relationships that will enable you to set and meet expectations on both sides. You will learn:
  • How to turn contacts into business partners
  • Understand why people don’t refer
  • Who not to build relationships with
  • How to get more time to develop new business
