BONALLACK & BISHOP SALISBURY SOLICITORS PRESS RELEASE
5th June 2008
V-Den
Bonallack and Bishop will be co hosting V-Den, a fast-paced and informal "dragon's den" for fast track business owners on Tuesday 17 June at the Grasmere Hotel in Salisbury from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30am.
This dynamic, interactive workshop has been devised by the BowShot Vector Group, a group for dozens of aspiring entrepreneurs in Dorset and Hampshire, “to unleash the combined experience, foresight and focus of 15 to 20 fast-track entrepreneurs". V-Den has been running successfully in Dorset for some time and the V-Den on June 17 will be the first time BowShot Vector has run an event in Wiltshire.
Tim Bishop, senior partner of Salisbury Solicitors Bonallack and Bishop commented,
“This will be a very exciting event indeed. I'm already a member of the BowShot Vector group and have benefited enormously from what it has to offer. We are proud to co-host the first V-Den meeting in Wiltshire. Those who attend should expect to be challenged, entertained and informed. "Observer" is not an option at this event. That's because, at V-Den, the roles rotate throughout, so everybody stays involved. This fun event is for those business owners who are serious about growing their business. If any local business owner wants to treble the value of their business within 2-3 years, they really should attend V-Den."
At V-Den, participants find themselves actively contributing in 2 or all of the following 3 roles:
1. As a front-bench panel member, actively mentoring a fast-track entrepreneur in the dragon's den.
2. As the presenter of an actual business challenge they are facing today.
3. As an active back-bench mentor lending their brain power, insight and perspective.
As one earlier V-Den participant remarked, "I found the whole event very rewarding and challenging and left with a renewed sense of purpose and direction".
Attendance costs £50 plus VAT (which can be deducted from the joining fees of a BowShot Vector Group).
If you would like to attend, please contact Caroline Skutt at Bonallack and Bishop and say whether you'd like to present an issue, be a panel member or participate as a member of the audience.
