Nigel is a dispute resolution specialist with a particular interest in employment law and inheritance disputes.
Nigel has successfully represented clients (both Claimants and Respondents) before the Employment Tribunal and before the Employment Appeal Tribunal as well as speaking and writing on employment law topics. He has also advised both employers and employees on employment related matters. He frequently advises on Settlement Agreements.
Nigel is an experienced practitioner having represented clients in the County Court and the High Court in relation to a broad mix of claims, including professional negligence, commercial and contractual disputes, landlord and tenant, defamation, boundary and other property related disputes.
He frequently advises and represents clients on inheritance claims together disputes relating to trusts and wills, as well as disputes between co-owners.
Nigel is committed to adopting alternative dispute resolution strategies when appropriate having frequently represented clients at mediation.
He also has wide experience of acting for clients under conditional and contingency fee arrangements.
Nigel was born in Kent and attended Liverpool University. His interests out of the office include sport, photography, food and the arts. He has two children.
