Nigel is a dispute resolution specialist with a particular interest in employment law.
Nigel has successfully represented clients (both Claimants and Respondents) before the Employment Tribunal and before the Employment Appeal Tribunal as well speaking and writing on employment law topics. He has also advised both employers and employees on numerous compromise agreements as well as undertaking the drafting of employment contracts.
Nigel is an experienced practitioner having represented clients in the County Court and the High Court in relation to a broad mix of claims, including professional negligence, commercial and contractual disputes (including construction and insolvency), boundary and other property disputes as well as contested wills and related family litigation.
He is committed to adopting alternative dispute resolution strategies when appropriate. He also has wide experience of acting for clients under conditional and contingency fee arrangements.
Nigel was born in Kent and attended Liverpool University. He is married with two young children. His interests out of the office include sport, food and the arts.
