We are really excited to announce an innovative new service.
There are about 8,500 parish councils in England alone. All of them need legal advice at some stage, but most of them, frankly don’t always receive the quality of legal advice and level of service they require. Why? Perhaps there is a tendency to appoint local solicitors or friends – but this won’t always be the best option.
The range of legal services required by Parish Councils, from time to time, is very wide – and covers a number of legal disciplines. We believe that the days of the general practitioner solicitor are long gone – whilst it might sound nice to develop a relationship with one particular solicitor who you can use for all your work, frankly, the law these days is far too complex for generalists and a good solicitor will need to specialise.
The 5 experienced local solicitors who make up our Parish Council team provide, that range of need specialist legal advice – and, between them, cover a wide variety of subjects ranging from village greens, village halls and allotments, to employment law, boundary disputes and increasingly importantly, the purchase, sale and development of local land. Click here for more information about how they can help your Parish Council.
What’s more, our service is unique in that we work alongside highly experienced local chartered town planners Benchmark Development Planning Ltd [ whose website you can find at http://www.wgdp.co.uk ] to provide an integrated legal, planning and development service for Parish Councils.
And what’s more, our team are more than happy to provide some initial free phone advice for any queries you may have.
So if your Parish Council is in need of legal advice – why not give us a ring on 01722 422300 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
