Remote Legal Executive Conveyancing Job
If you are a legal executive looking for a remote conveyancing job, you will already know how competitive – and often frustrating – the recruitment process can be. Many roles are filtered through agencies, job descriptions can be vague, and genuinely flexible remote positions are rarer than they should be.
At Bonallack & Bishop, we take a more direct and transparent approach. We are looking specifically for experienced legal executives seeking a fully remote residential conveyancing role, with a clear understanding of what the role involves, what we expect, and what you can expect from us.

A Remote Conveyancing Role Built for Legal Executives
We are actively looking for a legal executive (FILEX) or experienced conveyancer to join our well-established residential property team.
This is not a generic vacancy. It is a role designed for someone who:
- Already has solid residential conveyancing experience
- Is comfortable working remotely without supervision – with solid experience of purely remote working
- Wants to be part of a growing, structured and supportive team
- Prefers to focus on quality fee earning work, rather than management responsibilities
We are a CQS accredited firm, with a strong reputation in residential conveyancing and a consistent flow of high-quality work.

What Makes This Remote Conveyancing Job Different?
Many firms advertise “remote” roles that are, in reality, hybrid or heavily supervised. This is genuinely different.
1. Fully Remote Working – Done Properly
This role can be 100% remote, provided you have prior experience of working from home in a legal environment.
You will need to demonstrate that you can:
- Manage your own caseload independently
- Maintain productivity without close supervision
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues remotely
We are not looking to “experiment” with remote working – we already know it works when done properly.
Location is genuinely not a problem. Although we are broadly a high street law firm with offices in Wiltshire and Hampshire, we currently have lawyers in Spain and Florida.

2. Strong Structural Support Around You
You will not be working in isolation. You will be part of a 35-strong residential conveyancing team, supported by:
- A dedicated onboarding team
- A specialist post-completion team
- Access to administrative support and systems
- The potential support of up to 2 paralegals (with structured training already in place)
This means you can focus on fee earning and client care, rather than being bogged down in avoidable administrative tasks.

3. A Role Focused on Delivery – Not Management
This position is ideal for a legal executive who enjoys conveyancing work itself, rather than seeking a management or partnership track.
To be clear:
- This is not a partner-level role
- There is no immediate management progression requirement
- The focus is on being a high-performing fee earner within a strong team structure
For many experienced legal executives, this is exactly what they want: clarity, stability, and autonomy.

- And Tim Bishop
This stage focuses more on:
