Lawyer vacancies – Salisbury, Amesbury, Fordingbridge and Andover
If you’re a Solicitor or Legal Executive and looking for a job near to your home, and you live in Hampshire or Wiltshire, and in particular near Salisbury, Amesbury, Andover or Fordingbridge and Andover, we would love to hear from you.
Office based, hybrid or remote working – it’s your choice
Here at Bonallack & Bishop we strongly believe that when it comes to legal jobs, one size does not fit all. And that’s why although we are a traditional high-street local law firm (though with a substantial number of clients nationwide who come to us for our specialist expertise), our solicitors vary in how they prefer to work.
So while we are perfectly happy to have you based full-time in one of our four branch offices, depending on the particular job, we are likely to be just as happy with you working on a hybrid basis or working from home.
Senior Partner, Tim Bishop’s, rationale is very simple. He only looks for 3 things from the firm’s solicitors:
1. good quality legal work
2. satisfied happy clients
3. good levels of profit.
Provide you can deliver those 3 key elements, then we are remarkably relaxed on how you help deliver our service.
Our long history of flexible working
Covid has changed the way that many law firms operate, but our record of flexible working goes back way before lockdown.
For 10 years or more, we have been more than happy to let our solicitors work from home for some of the time. In fact we often encourage that. We find that when solicitors need to spend quality uninterrupted quiet time on a particular aspect of their work (drafting a brief, client statement, or reviewing a complex lease or contract, for example), then a quiet place at home is often the best place to do it.
As a result, within 2 hours of lockdown being introduced in March 2020, 80% of our lawyers were ready to work from home full time – with laptops, remote access, case management and redirected phones.
And as the jobs market for quality solicitors has become more competitive of late, we have found that the best way of increasing our chances of getting the very best solicitors is to offer remote working. And we can prove it works.
The excellent head of both our residential conveyancing and lease extension teams (and now a salaried partner), for example, has at the time of writing been with the firm for almost 18 months as a fully remote worker. But he has only met senior partner, Tim Bishop, twice face-to-face – with the 1st around 6 months after starting with the firm! And it’s working incredibly well.
No current vacancies? Don’t let that put you off.
