Our genuine clinical negligence specialist
Denise Broomfield, our Medical Negligence solicitor and the head of our Medical Negligence specialist team, is already a member of a nationwide charity set up to campaign for “patient safety and justice” the equally specialist AvMA Panel run by Action Against Medical Accidents – she was re-accredited again on June 2016.
In addition to this, the Law Society’s own Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme re-appointed Denise, to their panel on April 1st this year. According to the Law Society, this particular scheme is set to show that any member of the Clinical Negligence (an alternative term for medical negligence) panel is equipped with a high level of knowledge and experience in Medical Negligence claims.
Denise in particular, is one of just five specialist medical solicitors in Wiltshire with panel membership. The scheme is one of the most demanding run by the Law Society and as a result there are only just over 300 solicitors specializing in Medical Negligence in England and Wales (out of over 130,000), who are panel members. And only around 180 solicitors are member of both the Law Society and AVMA panels.
