For over 200 years now, Fordingbridge law firm, Jacksons, have been providing legal advice to individual and commercial clients both locally and across the New Forest.
However, on October 1st, 2017, Jacksons merged with Wiltshire and Hampshire solicitors, Bonallack and Bishop.
The Fordingbridge office at 5, Provost Street becomes the firm’s 4th branch and the Fordingbridge office only is now known as Bonallack and Bishop (incorporating Jacksons).
Both of Jacksons partners, Nigel Donell and David Bowen–Ashwin, remain with the newly merged firm as full time consultants.
The biggest change is that following the merger, the Fordingbridge office can now offer a wider range of client services – in particular adding both business and civil dispute resolution [including accident claims and medical negligence compensation] along with divorce law (including family mediation) to the existing range of legal advice already being covered – residential conveyancing, commercial property, commercial law, wills, trusts and probate.
New Niche Services
Another positive change following the merger, is that the Fordingbridge office now has access to some of Bonallack and Bishop’s highly specialist niche specialist services which they currently provide for clients – including lease extension and enfranchisement, and advice for parish councils and property investors.
